Rules

The rules were created with the intention that each and every one of us maintain a fair and competitive gameplay. It is important to read all of the rules carefully to be fully aware of each of them.

Rules of the game

Before presenting the rules of the game, we need to explain how PvPs and Wars are played: PvP (Player versus Player) is a 1v1, a battle between 2 players. A private room is created with only 2 players and, usually, a judge / referee is mandatory to make sure it is a valid PvP for rank. A point is given in each round to one of the two players: if the shaman kills the mouse, it is the shaman's point. On the other hand, if the mouse survives the whole round, it is the mouse's point. Keep in mind that the mouse can commit suicide if the shaman has died. If the shaman kills himself and the mouse with the same cannon, the point is given to the shaman, if the shaman kills himself with a cannon and then another cannon kills the mouse, it is mouse's point. The first player to reach 10 points is the winner of the PvP. The wars are a 2v2 or 3v3 or 4v4, etc (2/3 of the same tribe against another 2/3 of another tribe is a tribe war) gameplay. In official wars, this is mandatory: guests from outside the tribe are not allowed. A private room is created with 4/6 players (and a judge, if the war is a war between ranked tribes). It is played in the same way as a pvp, only that the shaman of a team has to kill the 2/3 players of the other tribe. The number of points to be reached by a team to win is 15.

IMPORTANT! MAJOR RULE CHANGES:
1. In tier 1/2 the pvp's will be d7 and best of 3
2. Waterfall/amount rule has been changed, switching from 1 cnn max to 2 cnn max.
3.  inactive 3 days will result in the elimination of the top
4. x2 refuses to the same player on different days will result in the elimination from the top
5. We will also prohibit players from playing in the rank using conclusive video footage, considering that too many suspicious plays will result in a ban.

- Only cannons will be valid. Other objects are forbidden; using any other object to kill the players will result in a point for the opponent party. Spark (spirit, abbreviated "sp") is valid to propel yourself as a shaman, not to kill. Kill with a spirit (sp kill) means, that the round must be replayed from the same time remaining as before the incident. The spirit can't also be used in order to propel enemies at the end of the round and stop them from dying in war. Using other objects apart from sp is prohibited for any reason. Therefore, it is invalid for shams to use any of these objects to reach or remain at a better position. Object x1 = Point to the opponent.

- Transparent cannons are valid (throw out of your opponent's space).

- Portals are not valid (except when it's to save the judge). Portal x1 = Point for the opponent.

- Hug (touching the shaman) is invalid. The jump over static cannons set by the shaman is prohibited and considered hug to the shaman, with some exceptions, which will be presented in the rules below. Cannons that have moved less than 1/2 of a cannon's width are still considered ''static cannon down'', which means that cannons that have moved more than that can be jumped over. Touch / pass through the shaman when he's doing combo or blockjump once = x1 Hug. Hug x3 = Point to the opponent.

-If a shaman goes too close to a mouse and does not give enough space for the mouse to dodge combos (Hug Shaman), the mice can jump over the static cannon. A bad example of space is: https://prnt.sc/m78hs4, while an example of good space is: https://prnt.sc/m78i0x. In the case the shaman doesn't give enough space, the mice are allowed to touch, push, jump on/over the static cannons. A shaman using a fully upwards rotated cannon (up cannon) on his head to attack mice on the same ground has to also give space.

- Fake (when a shaman starts throwing a cannon, then stops before the cannon goes out) is prohibited. Fake x3 = Point to the opponent. If a fake affects the opponent, the shaman must give him sp to return. If a player dies from fake the round must be replayed from the same time remaining as before the incident. Note: If a shaman stops and waits after the Fake, and if it does not affect the opponent, the shaman has not disobeyed any rule. If a player falls from a position or dies due to trying to predict and jump on a cannon which is, in the end, not spawned by the shaman, it is considered as a fake and the shaman must give sp to the opponent for them to return to the previous position (or remake from the same time remaining if the mouse dies). It is allowed for the shaman to stop spawning a cannon when the opponent is outside of the map and would die if not for the cannon's involvement.

-The maximum ping that is allowed to be in PvP (1v1) or in war (2v2 or 3v3) is 300. If the ping exceeds 300 during a PvP, the pvp will be stopped and continued in max 6 minutes. In the event which the player with raised ping can not continue the game after 6 minutes, the other player will have won. In the other hand, if one player would exceed the ping limit for over 3 times in 9 minutes, the other player will have won.

-Screenshot of /ping, /ips, taskbar and toolbar for each player is required by the ref at the start of each ranked pvp/war. If a player disconnects after the match started, he has to provide a screenshot with the same contents when he comes back.

- If a player disconnects or leaves the room during a ranked pvp he has to come back within 10 minutes and finish the pvp. If the player is online and doesn't want to continue the pvp, he loses the pvp automatically.

-Players have the right to pause the match and come back within 10 minutes, however they cannot pause after a valid round has already started. If they say "stop", the match is paused beginning with the next round.

- Instant (=insta - suddenly generated cannon) is not valid. Insta x3 = point to the opponent. If an instant cannon kills a player, the round will be restarted with the same shaman, from the same remaining time. If an insta affects a player causing him to go to a worse position, the shaman must help the mouse to return to its previous location using sp's. Mice that reach a better position using an insta may remain in the better position.

- Retra (when a cannon takes longer to spawn more than it should or the accumulation of two cannons at the same time) is not valid. Retra x3 = Point to the opponent. Similarly to the instants, if a retra cannon kills a player, the round will be restarted with the same shaman, from the same remaining time. If a retra affects a player causing him to go to a worse position, the shaman must help the mouse to return to its previous location using sp's. Mice that reach a better position using a retra may remain in the better position.

-If a shaman spawns several cannons at the same time (more than 3) it is considered as Totem. Totem x1 = Point to the opponent.

-Amount/Waterfall (putting more than 2 down/up cannon on a platform and then shooting it off onto a lower platform to kill the mouse) is not allowed. Amount x1 = point to the opponent.

- All PvP for ranks must have at least one JUDGE / REFEREE (one of the official judges, or someone put in charge of supervising a PvP by an official judge).

-In wars, it is allowed for shams to help teammates move with sp. It is not allowed for opponents to take advantage of the sp's to also move to another ground.

- PvP's and wars are allowed to have any number of spectators(=specs). The competitors, however, have the right not to allow any spectators, which need the permission of both parties in order to stay.

- Spectators and referees may not influence the gameplay in any way. If a mouse is struck to a worse position by a cannon influenced by the ref/spec the sham must give him sp to come back. If a mouse is killed by a cannon influenced by the ref/spec the round is replayed from the same time remaining as before the moment of the kill. Refs/specs must not intentionally influence the cannons, no matter if it helps the mice or the sham.

- If a judge dies when there are more than 20 seconds of round left, the shaman has the choice to either finish the round and then repeat the round from the same time remaining as before the judge died minus 20 seconds, or kill himself right away and repeat the round from the same time remaining as before the judge died.

- Prohibited programs: Cheat Engine / hack (Mild, Agile Mouse, Speed, VPN, Pulo, etc) Standalones (with hack), Hotkeys, Macro, Filterkeys, Keyboardking, Regedit modifications that improve playability etc. These programs/usages of programs and any other program not related to Atelier801 that would give a better performance to the player is considered Hack x1 = Total loss of the match and ban. It is not allowed to posess these programs on your computer and it is considered Hack x1 if you simply have them

- Lagging the connection intentionally and other bugs/glitches (for example, Ctrl + C and click on X) are forbidden. Bug/Glitch x1 = Point to the opponent.

-Camping (staying behind a wall where the shaman can not kill you for more than 4 seconds) is forbidden. Unless the shaman has taken him to that position and does not stop attacking without letting him leave said position. Everything that has been said about "camp" refers only to a wall-jump on the outer side of the wall, where the shaman can not attack. Jumping on the wall where the shaman can attack you is allowed. Camp x3 = Point to the opponent. Continuously walljumping on an exterior wall is allowed when said ground is blocked by a static cannon and therefore mice could only climb up from the wall by doing x1 Cannon hug.

Meep that affects the mouse is prohibited. Meep x1 = Point to the opponent. However, as transparent cannons are valid and they're created by the same key as meep (spacebar), the sham will not be punished for the meep created that way. If a player is meeped accidentally and struck to a worse position, the sham has to give them sp to come back. Similarly, the mice can not abuse this accident and go to a more advantageous place, so they must come back, with sp from sham if they can't on their own.

- Head/Headsurfs (cannons having their trajectory influenced by the heads of the mice or shaman) are allowed in any circumstance.

- Cannons attached with anchors/nails (any type of anchor/nail) are prohibited. Cannons with anchor/nail x1 = Point to the opponent.

- No skill is allowed in the PvP.

- Custom cannons are totally forbidden (without exception).

- Cannons generated in the shaman's skill number that cover the cannon and in some areas of the map which, therefore, do not show their direction, result in an infliction called 'Hiding / Hide' and is prohibited. Hiding / hide x3 = point to the opponent. 3 cannons spawned hiding result in Hide x3 = point to the opponent.

- Respawn (is when the shaman is put in the initial position of the mouse and this is allowed to hug the shaman until he moves from his initial position). Mice lose the right to use the respawn rule once they have left their spawn ground.

- If a referee can't continue, the match is paused and will be continued from the same score with another ref. It is advised that the players or previous ref inform the next ref who was going to be sham so that there are no arguments.

- Abusing the limit established for many times repeatedly in a war or PvP (x3) and performing them intentionally taking advantage of the fact that they will only be penalized if they are done 3 times in a round can be PENALIZED by the official judge if he chooses to do so.

- Only one point can be awarded each round, which means that the competitors can die after the specific rules awarding a point have been broken. No additional point will be given for surviving the whole round, or killing opponents, after a point has been awarded in that way. Also, the different broken rules do not accumulate: for example, doing Insta x1 and then Hug x1 do not accumulate to x2 or more.

- Fast cannons (cannons that, unlike instants, do start being spawned, but finish spawning quicker than normal) are disallowed, and the consequences of its uses/occurrences are the same as the rules specified for Retra/Insta cannons. Fast x3 = Point to the opponent.

Rank Rules

- If any user will be inactive from the game for 3 days, they are eliminated from the rank. If the ranked player was inactive for 3 days, contact the person on the website to make the corresponding decision; it will be necessary to submit photo proofs (screens). → - If an user reject the PvP Rank for 2 days to the same player, will be taken as a defeat. If a ranked player rejected PvP for 2 days, contact any admin to make the corresponding decision; it will be necessary to submit photo proofs (screens).

- For a user to PvP "Top 1" or "Top 2", they must be "Top3", "Top 4" or "Top 5" in the same group. However, users in rank can pvp people in the next group (maximum), the same way they can accept from people that is group down (maximum), at their own risk. Naturally, as the rule implies, Top 1 and 2 can always refuse to PvP users that are not Top 3-5, without being punished for it. →

- Fake or secondary accounts: (accounts created with less than 6 months, or accounts that don't have at least 30 days on /time) are forbidden. If a ranked player changes his/her main account, he/she must inform the representative of his/her server. If a player wishes to switch his rank to another account, he/she has to tell a representative and prove that they're indeed that person.

- Giving or selling a top is PROHIBITED; the only way to get a top is by winning a PvP against a ranked player, with the only exception that a user has been banned,  leaving a top free, in which case a user will be designated by the contact to occupy said top.

- Ranked players are allowed to play as much as they want in the same day with the same player, if he/she refuses after the first PvP, it won't be counted as a refusal for the player they pvp'd, having a 1 day cooldown, with the last PvP being valid for top (in case of BO1). Players can also do Bo3 etc systems to decide the winner of the match.

- The players who are on the "BANNED" list, don't have any access related to survivor rankings. The relationship with the players may lead to the exclusion of others from the competition. Players banned by TFM moderators for reasons not having to do with the survivor scene are allowed to participate in the rank.

- Teamviewer is required to participate in PvP's for the Top and Tournaments Because we need to ensure that players are playing fairly, without any kind of hacks. Download it to verify you are playing fair! The referee(s), not necessarily the ref of a particular match, reserve the right to do Teamviewer verification on any competitor as they deem fit. The only exception for this rule is if the competitor will record or stream the game, having it available for the referees to verify.

- Players can report any misconduct from referees or other players via the contact form or directly to another representative.

- Disobeying rules can result in warnings, penalties in the game (point to the opponent, loss of the match) and/or bans from the rankings. Actions that can make you get banned from the ranks temporarily or permanently

Bans

Hack - If done once, the user will be suspended from the top 744 hours (31 days). If it is done twice, the user will be suspended 2,976 hours (124 days). If it is done a third time, the player will be permanently banned from the tops page. There are also exceptions where the staff together decide how long the ban gonna be.

Irresponsible/Bad conduct (including disrespecting other players or judges) and lying or cheating on pvp scores (including faking prints or editing). Depending on the situation, the penalty for this case is a warning, which dictates that you will be banned from the ranking for 72 hours.

Bugging or lagging the connection intentionally, (repeating bug or lag many times) can cause the player to be banned from the ranks up to 720 hours.

People creating/advertising/promoting any other web-pages stating that they are "the real Official Survivor Ranking website" will get a permanent ban due to sharing information, which consists in information such as "not reliable, not true, outdated, copyrights"

We only penalize the players when we see what they did from ourselves. If you think a player deserves to be banned from the ranking, do not hesitate to contact us. Do not forget to take screenshots, screens / prints or even videos as proof, as we dont penalize without evidence.

To enter the ranking:

Win a PvP against a player from last tier (top 3-5)

Have proof of your victory (normally this isn't necessary, as long as you have an official judge / referee, since they are testimony of your victory, but it is advisable to take a screenshot as proof).
